Krumovo

Railroad worker died in a terrible incident on the railway line near Plovdiv during repair works. This was announced by the National Railway Infrastructure Company (NRIC). The tragedy happened at 10.30 on Monday. In the Plovdiv distribution point - Krumovo undercutting machine, passing through the road in the direction of Dimitrovgrad, stroke the employee of NRIC.

With 100 meters height the helicopter "Kugyr" flew over the "Alexander Battenberg" Square in Sofia this morning, announced BNT.

The Bulgarian national flag was launched down from the helicopter.

Two "Kugyres" 704 and 711, which are a part of "Krumovo" airbase escorted the helicopter "MIG-17", which was the flag-bearer during the military parad. 

Four villages in southwestern Bulgaria have been cut off the local transport network and left without access to medical care for two months, public broadcaster BNT reports.

Located in Kocherinovo municipality, the villages are only home to dozens of people, nearly all of them being pensioners.

The second edition of the summer festival OPERA OPEN in Plovdiv will be taking place outside the stage of the Ancient Theater. The purpose is for the art to find new fans and the organizers will be attempting to gather close to 10,000 people at the events.
