Leading politicians and relatives of the victims marked the anniversaries of the killings of civilians in the villages of Krushe e Madhe/Velika Krusa, Krushe e Vogel/Mala Krusa and Suhareke/Suva Reka on Friday.

Kosovo’s Appeals Court rejected an appeal from the defence of former reservist Darko Tasic, upholding his indictment for committing war crimes in the village of Krusha e Vogel/ Mala Krusa in March 1999.

Former Serbian reservist Darko Tasic is accused of robbery and destruction of property in the Kosovo village of Krusha e Vogel/Mala Krusa in March 1999, and of burning victims’ bodies and throwing them in a river.

PRISTINA - The remains of 46 individuals, including members of the Berisa and Bitici families who were found in Batajnica (near Belgrade) in 2001, were buried on Wednesday, EULEX has said in a release.

The Department of Forensic Medicine (DFM) handed over the remains to the families this week, the release reads.
