It's easy to go with the flow. What's hard is to swim against the current, especially when it comes to the Greek media landscape, which is rife with shortcomings and peculiarities.

The Greek Education Ministry has added a new category in its official site titled “Fake News”. This includes news, information, publications, statements related to education matters published in electronic and print media that the Ministry deems to be either contains inaccurate news or is invalid.

Neither Kadri Gürsel nor his freedom can be compared to a lost and found donkey, but our situation is very much like a Nasreddin Hodja joke.  

It is unfair to pin the whole blame on Donald Trump and his election win in the United States on the new political concept of "post-truth." 

What we call "truth" doesn't depend on what people feel about it. It doesn't change when you look from different aspects. 

When Donald Trump won, many people; not only residents of the United States, but also millions in the world asked, "How can people elect someone as the president of the United States when most of the words coming out of his mouth are based on lies? 

Probably you keep hearing about it all these days, the concept of "post-truth." After a spike in use around Brexit and the election of Donald Trump, the word "post-truth" has been named as Oxford Dictionary's word of the year. 
Actually the term was first used by Serbian-American playwright Steve Tesich.
