A tragic and shocking incident unfolded during a football match in Peru, when a lightning strike hit the field, taking the lives of players on the pitch. Seven players were knocked down by the impact, resulting in the death of one player and severe injuries to four others.

The 13-year-old boy who survived the lightning strike in Stara Planina is in good condition and was brought to the "St. George" University Hospital in Plovdiv last night, according to hospital officials speaking to BNT.
