At least 116 killed as storms batter India
Lightning strikes and powerful dust storms across India have killed at least 116 people and injured more than 250 as meteorologists warned May 3 of more wild weather on the horizon.

Eight students were struck by lightning last night in Southeast France, TASS reported, citing French television BeF.
Two killed, six injured in lightning strike in Turkey's Erzincan
Two people were killed and another six were injured on June 14 when lightning struck people working in a field in the Oğulcuk village of the eastern province of Erzincan, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.

Ayhan Aday, Adil Ortaç, Erdal Nazal? and Mevlüt Öksüz, who are employees at Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, were injured while digging a grave in Denizli's Kale district when lightning struck on Aug. 2.
