Summer sales begin on July 8, 2024 at stores across the country, and stores are expected to be open on the second Sunday in July.

The second half of the year will start on Sunday, with the first day of the second half of the year being the second day of the second half.

The summer sales and will run through Aug. 31.

According to data from the Cypriot Ministry of Agriculture's e-kofini platform, retail prices of fruit and vegetables are considerably higher compared to prices set by producer organizations. In several cases, the same products are sold at retail points for more than double the price compared to what organized producers offer.

Summer sales will begin on Monday, July 10, and run through August 31, retailers announced on Tuesday.

Shops also have the option to open on the first Sunday of the summer sales season, on July 16, with their recommended hours put at 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
