Population rebounds in earthquake-hit region, official says
Turkish provinces devastated by last year's earthquakes have seen a resurgence in their populations, says Atay Uslu, the head of the parliament's subcommittee on migration and adaptation.
Uslu revealed that regions that experienced rapid population decline post-earthquake have now begun to approach their former demographic levels.

4.6 magnitude quake shakes Athens
A 4.6 magnitude earthquake has hit east of Evia, Greece's second largest island, shaking the capital Athens, southwest of the tremor's epicenter.
The tremor was felt at 4.15 p.m. local time.
The Athens-based Institute of Geodynamics announced on its website that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Moderate tremor rattles eastern Peloponnese
A moderate earthquake rattled the eastern Peloponnese and parts of the Greek capital on Tuesday morning, with initial estimates putting its magnitude at 4.8 on the Richter scale.
According to the National Observatory of Athens, the quake struck off the coast of Leondio in the northeastern Peloponnese's Gulf of Argos, at a depth of 14.5 kilometers.

Over 1,800 children reunited with families after Feb. 6 earthquakes
Ayşegül Yıldırım Kara, Director General of Child Services at the Family and Social Policies Ministry, said that 1,874 of the 1,912 children taken under protection following the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes that affected 11 provinces have been reunited with their families within a year.

Warnings mount after quakes shake Türkiye’s southeast
Following the successive earthquakes in Hakkari's Yüksekova district, located in southeastern Türkiye, experts have once again reiterated warnings over future risks in the region.
Earthquakes of 4.4, 3.5 and 4.5 magnitude occurred successively in Yüksekova on Dec. 31, causing fear and panic among the residents.
