Supreme Court rules taxman can knock at all times, as long as prosecutor is present
Tax inspectors can call at homes and businesses outside normal hours as long as they have a prosecutors order and the search is carried out in the presence of a prosecutor, the Supreme Court said on Tuesday.
Deputy Supreme Court prosecutor Nikos Pantelis said that it was illegal for these inspections to be carried out without a prosecutor.
