Macedonian local elections

On Sunday, local elections are being held in Macedonia, which is a test for the new left-wing government five months after it came to power in an acute political crisis after a decade of conservative government, the Associated Press reported.

A spokesperson for the ethnic Albanian DUI party in Macedonia says Zoran Zaev's SDSM is ready to vote in favor of a genocide lawsuit against Serbia.

According to Bujar Osmani, the lawsuit would concern "genocide committed against Albanians between two wars."
