Certainly, Lago di Como, the dazzlingly beautiful lake of the Italian north, with its vivid blue waters, the lush green nature that touches its shores, the admirable villas where its history has been written and its glamorous past remains alive, is not short of impressive accommodations.

The first hotel unit in the Costa Navarino complex will this year open its doors even earlier than in previous years - i.e. on February 18 - followed by the other three units that TEMES has developed in Messinia, in the Peloponnese.

The initial performance of the new Mandarin Oriental hotel at Costa Navarino is particularly satisfactory, says the head of the ultra-luxury hotel management chain in Greece, Raul Levis.

International luxury hotel chain Mandarin Oriental has opened its first hotel in Greece at Costa Navarino, on the southwest coast of the Peloponnese.

The hotel has 99 suites and villas, set on a 140-hectare property.

The investment topped €100 million.

A second Mandarin Oriental will open at Elliniko, near Athens.

The five-star Mandarin Oriental in London, a 12-story building, caught fire Wednesday, according to reports.
