The B&M Theocharakis Foundation presents "Maria Callas: The Legend Lives" on the 40th anniversary of the celebrated opera singer's death. The exhibition consists of more than 200 personal possessions, including gowns, accessories, jewellery, furniture and letters, most from the impressive Nikos Charalambopoulos collection.

Tutto Verdi | Athens | December 30
The Athens Concert Hall is hosting an opera gala featuring popular arias and duets penned by Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi on Friday, December 30. Taking part in the gala are soprano Cellia Costea, baritone Dimitri Platanias and the Athens State Orchestra conducted by Miltos Logiadis.

Marina Abramovic to visit Epidaurus theatre to film Callas documentary
Renowned artist Marina Abramovic will be at the ancient theatre of Epidaurus on March 28 to film scenes for a documentary on the life of famous soprano Maria Callas.
Abramovic has been in Greece since the beginning of March presenting a new project titled “As One” in collaboration between the Marina Abramović Institute (MAI) and the Greek Cultural Organisation NEON.
Babylon Soundgarden Festival to begin May 23 in Kilyos

Museum dedicated to Maria Callas set to open by end-2015

A museum dedicated to opera great Maria Callas is expected to open its doors in central Athens by the end of next year. Located at 44 Mitropoleos Street, the museum will be housed in a building owned by the City of Athens.
