Editorial: The Russian lobby in Greece
Greece from the very beginning condemned the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
This was not only for humanitarian reasons, but because at its core the invasion incorporates the quintessential outlook of contemporary authoritarian revisionism, and it violates fundamental principles of the post WWII world, including the inviolability of borders.

Turks hack Varoufakis's Twitter account
The Twitter account of Yanis Varoufakis was reportedly hacked on Friday evening by what the former finance minister described as "Turkish fascists."
Hackers posted videos with Turkish-language content saying among other things, "We will raise the Turkish flag in Athens. Wait for the noble Turkish warriors."

The Installation of the Bronze House in Sofia has Finally Started
The installation of the Bronze House on the site of Georgi Dimitrov's mausoleum in Sofia started on Wednesday. It is supposed to be a symbol of the Bulgarian Presidency, ending in late June, and the subsequent Austrian presidency by the end of the year.
Ritsos's 'Epitaphios' | Athens | April 4
Acclaimed veteran vocalist Maria Farantouri performs Mikis Theodorakis's melodized version of the emblematic requiem "Epitaphios" by poetry laureate Yiannis Ritsos, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) on Wednesday, April 4, starting at 8.30 p.m. She is joined by bass Tasos Apostolou, pianist Achilleas Wastor, bouzouki player Iraklis Zakkas and cellist Alexandros Botinis.

Seven Artists | Athens | June 2-30
Seven talented artists express their reflections and emotions in experiential artworks that are going on display at the Chryssothemis Gallery in the northern Athens suburb of Halandri. The gallery was launched in spring of 1979 under the direction of Zoi Psarrou. Its name is taken from a poem by Giannis Ritsos.
