SDS condemns foreign minister’s RTV Slovenija appeal
Ljubljana – The opposition Democrats (SDS) have strongly condemned a letter Foreign Minister Tanja Fajon has addressed to RTV Slovenija director general Andrej Grah Whatmough urging him to reconsider his plan to cut the public broadcaster’s international network of correspondents. The SDS sees her move as unacceptable political pressure.

Three Palestinians killed in Israeli operation in West Bank
Three Palestinians were killed Friday morning and eight others wounded in an operation by Israeli forces in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.
The three men were killed when Israeli forces, who have increased their operations in the area in recent months, opened fire on the vehicle in which the men were travelling.

RTV Slovenija journalists to go on strike on Monday
Ljubljana – Journalists at public broadcaster RTV Slovenija will go on strike on Monday after their 23 May strike and subsequent talks with the management brought no progress on their strike demands.
The strike will take place between 2pm and 11pm, and a rally will be held at 7pm in Republic Square, across the street from the National Assembly.
Bulgarian TV Crew Attacked in Serbia
The team of the investigative journalism show on the Bulgarian National Television "Traces Remain" was attacked in Bosilegrad during photos of environmental pollution in the border regions.
There are no casualties from the team, and the equipment has minimal damage, the host and producer of the show Bogdana Lazarova told BNT.
