Vucic receives Montenegrin Serb representatives
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Monday received representatives of Montenegrin Serb parliamentary parties and cultural institutions, who conveyed concern over the position of the country's Serbs.
The delegation, headed by New Serb Democracy President Andrija Mandic, made concrete proposals how the Serbian government could help Serbs in Montenegro.

Vukosavljevic, Torkaman open Iran's booth at Belgrade Book Fair
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Culture Vladan Vukosavljevic and the director of Iran's Islamic Culture and Relations Organisation Abouzar Ebrahimi Torkaman ceremonially opened the Iran booth at the 61st International Belgrade Book Fair on Sunday.
In a statement to Tanjug, Vukosavljevic said the exceptional booth featured children's books, books on Iranian history and Persian poetry.
DSS launches initiative to save Cyrillic
NOVI SAD - On the occasion of International Mother Language Day, celebrated on February 21, the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), a party in the assembly of the Serbian province of Vojvodina, announced on Saturday an initiative "to save the Cyrillic alphabet and Serbian language".

Serbian, RS Ministries of Culture sign MoC
BELGRADE - Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac and Minister of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska (RS) Goran Mutabdzija have signed in Banja Luka a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) between the two ministries that provides for exchange of programs, projects and experts between Serbian and RS national cultural institutions.

Matica srpska marks 150 years since moving to Novi Sad
NOVI SAD - Matica srpska, the oldest Serbian literary, cultural and scientific institution, on Monday marked the 150th anniversary since moving from Pest to Novi Sad in Serbia's northern province of Vojvodina.
