The United States continues to send forces to the Middle East in anticipation of an expected Iranian attack on Israel, with flight tracking sites showing USAF F-15E aircraft en route to Jordan.

On the forum of the game "WarThunder" on January 17, documents appeared containing information about the AIM-120 air-to-air missile. Also, on January 18, again on the same forum, a lot of secret information about another American fighter, the "F-15E Strike Eagle", appeared.

Blue Flag 2017, the largest international aerial training exercise in Israel’s history, began today upon the arrival of aircraft from seven different air forces to Ouvda AFB. Throughout the combined training exercise, held this year for the third time, the visiting squadrons will fly alongside Israeli squadrons.

A day after Israel’s counter attack on a Syrian SA-5 surface-to-air missile site we are learning more about the incident, and unfortunately, some questionable outlets and commentators are spreading rumors that imply one of Israel’s F-35Is was the aircraft targeted by Syrian missiliers, and that the aircraft was damaged in the attack.

Russia announced it’s newest variant of the Sukhoi Su-30SM — the Su30SM1 — last month, which reportedly has enhanced weapons and electrical systems.

The Bulgarian Ministry of Defense has announced that at Graf Ignatievo Air Base in Southern Bulgaria, US F-15C fighter jets are to land for participation in a joint Bulgarian-American flying training ''Thracian Eagle - 2017'', BNR reported.

Five jets flew over Athens at around 12:30′ local time. The jets were taking part in the Greek exercise INIOHOS 2017 which end today and they were one Greek F-16 Block 50, one Israeli F-16 Block 30, one Italian AMX and one Greek F-4E.

They made two low flybys over the Acropolis and then they flew over the Euripus Strait and the Rio-Antirio bridge before returning to their base.

Saudi warplanes sent to support the U.S.-led anti-Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) coalition have been scheduled to arrive at ?ncirlik Air Base in Turkey's southeastern province of Adana on Feb. 26, private broadcaster CNN Türk has reported.

The report said advance guards had already arrived at the base as of Feb. 25.

A delegation from Saudi Arabia was expected to arrive at ?ncirlik air base in Turkey's south on Feb. 24 in order to conduct preliminary research for four F-15E Strike Eagle fighter jets it will send in support of the U.S.-led anti-Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) coalition. 

Turkey and the United States have finalized a bilateral agreement to provide a framework for the latter's aircraft to conduct combat air patrol missions in Turkish airspace, amid ongoing tension between Ankara and Moscow over the downing of a Russian warplane last month.
