GCS: 3,130 new COVID-19 cases; tests in past 24 hours - 9,550

A number of 3,130 new cases of people infected with SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in the past 24 hours, following 9,550 tests carried out nationwide, the Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reported on Monday. These are cases that have not previously had a positive test, says GCS. As of Monday, 643,559 cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.

The Strategic Communication Group (GCS) reports on Wednesday that 1,415 new cases of persons infected with SARS-CoV-2 were recorded over the previous update, following tests done at the national level. These are cases that had not previously tested positive, the GCS mentions. Until Tuesday, 65,177 cases of people infected with the novel coronavirus have been confirmed in Romania.
