Police search for suspects in jewellery store heist
Greek police launched a manhunt on Thursday to find the perpetrators of an armed robbery in a jewellery store in the Athenian district of Ambelokipi, which left one woman injured.
Rouvikonas strikes twice in a day
Members of the anarchist group Rouvikonas (Greek for Rubicon) on Thursday stormed the offices of the Hellenic-American Union in Kolonaki in central Athens, scattering fliers with the message "Freedom to Palestine."
The increasingly-active group carried out a similar raid at the premises of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce on Mesogeion Avenue.
No arrests were reported.

A serious incident took place at the Greek Ministry of Defence on Friday morning when about 20 members of the far-left anarchist group Rubicon, stormed through the main entrance and approached the building where the office of the Minister Panos Kammenos is located, who was in Canada at that time.
Rouvikonas breaches security, scatters flyers at Defense Ministry
A group of around 20 people believed to belong to the anti-establishment Rouvikonas scattered flyers at the steps of the Defense Ministry in northern Athens on Friday.
According to reports, the group managed to breach security at the gate of the Mesogeion Avenue compound in order to reach the entrance to the main building.
Athens bus and trolley bus drivers holding stoppage on Thursday
There will be no buses or trolley buses in the Greek capital from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday as drivers walk off the job in protest at "the deterioration of public transportation."
The protesting workers will also hold a rally at 1 p.m. at the Transport Ministry in northern Athens, which may lead to traffic jams on Mesogeion Avenue.
Athens march marks four years since Fyssas murder
A march to commemorate Pavlos Fyssas, a rapper who was murdered by a Golden Dawn member four years ago, turned violent late Friday when protesters threw Molotov cocktails at a riot squad unit on the corner of Mesogeion Avenue and Trikalon Street in Athens.

GD official linked to attack on student given more time to prepare defense
A 42-year-old official of Golden Dawn appeared before an investigating magistrate in connection with the violent beating of a 24-year-old student last Friday and was given until next Wednesday to reappear and defend himself.
