Powerful tornadoes kill dozens across six US states

Rescuers were desperately searching for survivors early on Dec. 12 after dozens of devastating tornadoes tore through six U.S. states, leaving at least 83 people dead, dozens missing and towns in ruin.

President Joe Biden called the wave of tornadoes, including one that travelled more than 200 miles, "one of the largest" storm outbreaks in American history.

Weather: Skies clearing up on Sunday afternoon

Ljubljana – It will be foggy and cloudy in Slovenia on Sunday morning except for the coastal Primorska region where a weak to moderate bora will keep the clouds away for the entire day. During the afternoon the skies will be clearing up.

Morning lows will stand between 0 and 6 degrees Celsius and daytime highs between 10 and 13 degrees, up to 18 in Primorska.

Rare Seen Tornado Injured People and Caused Serious Damage in Germany

A rare waterspout caused by a tornado has struck the German port city of Kiel, throwing people from boats and damaging property.

Several rowers out in the water were injured as winds of over 100km/h lashed the northern coast, police said. Four people were seriously hurt in Kiel's dockside area.

The roofs of some buildings were torn off and trees were uprooted.
