Weather in Bulgaria: Code Orange Warning in Force for Four Eastern Regions
The national weather service have declared the Code Orange warning for hazardous weather in four regions for June 16, due to forecast for thunderstorms and heavy rain.
The four regions are in the eastern part of Bulgaria: Bourgas, Varna, Dobrich and Shoumen, Bulgaria's meteorology institute said.

The warning refers to the area of Srem (around Ruma) and the Srem part of Belgrade.

"In the next hour, heavy showers, thunder and hail in Srem (around Ruma) and the Srem part of Belgrade," it is stated on the RHMZ website.
A big downpour followed by thunder has already started in Belgrade.
Authorities issue warning for sudden rains
The Turkish State Meteorological Service (TSMS) has declared a yellow warning for 13 provinces, including Istanbul and Ankara, for heavy rains expected for the next three days while stressing people to take precautions.

Yellow weather alarm, next two hours "potentially dangerous"
Due to possible showers and thunderstorms, a yellow meteorological alarm is in force throughout the country, which indicates potentially dangerous weather conditions.
According to the RHMZ website, a rare occurrence of short-term rainfall is expected in some areas in western Serbia.

Codes Orange and Yellow have been declared across the country due to expected intense rainfall, national weather service reports.
Code Orange has been issued for the regions of Veliko Tarnovo, Gabrovo, Lovech and Pleven.

Yellow code for heavy rainfall and thunderstorms is in force for 14 regions in the country for Today, May 26.
The warning for heavy rains and thunderstorms applies to Sofia district, Sofia city and Blagoevgrad, Pazardzhik, Smolyan, Plovdiv, Lovech, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, Veliko Tarnovo, Ruse, Targovishte, Razgrad and Silistra regions.

Unstable weather in 29 counties throughout Wednesday; rain and wind elsewhere in Romania
The National Weather Administration (ANM) issued on Tuesday a Code Yellow warning for unstable weather valid until Wednesday in 29 counties, as well as a bad weather warning that will expire on Thursday evening.
New announcement of RHMZ: It's coming
On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be more frequent showers followed by thunder and more abundant precipitation. The amount of precipitation can be up to 20 mm in 12 hours, locally and more, it was announced early this morning on the RHMZ website.

Heavy rain, hail hit Istanbul’s Asian side
Heavy rain and hail hit some districts of Istanbul's Asian side, particularly Çekmeköy and Sultanbeyli.
Residents of those affected areas covered their vehicles with carpets and blankets to protect them from the hailstones.
Motorists in Çekmeköy had to take cover under a bridge to wait for the heavy rain and hail which lasted for some one hour with intervals.

Weather Today in Bulgaria
Thursday before noon will be partly sunny. In the afternoon, cumulus and rainy clouds will develop and in many places in the western half of the country there will be short-term, temporarily intense rainfall.
In Northwestern Bulgaria there will be thunderstorms and hail conditions. A light wind will blow from the south-southwest, before noon in Eastern Bulgaria - from the southeast.
