Bulgarian State Railways (BDZ) has announced several train cancellations and delays on its website.

A tree fell on three girls aged 13-14 while sitting on a bench in front of a block of flats in Plovdiv.

The teenage girls were admitted to the Emergency Department of the "St. George" Hospital in Plovdiv, "24 chasa" reported.

The locomotive of the fast train from Varna to Sofia caught fire in motion at around 11 a.m. today. This was told by passengers traveling in the ill-fated train.
