Turkish Arkomat to Open Second Wire Harness Production Plant in Bulgaria
The Turkish company Arkomat, which specialises in the production of wire harnesses for Volkswagen, will open a second production plant in Bulgaria in a month.
Arkomat opened its first factory in Bulgaria in the town of Kazanlak sixteen years ago and now plans to open a second one in the town of Karlovo.

Sofia-Varna Train Stuck in Iskar River Valley
The Sofia-Varna train got stuck somewhere along the valley of the Iskar River on Tuesday afternoon.
The train reportedly crashed into an insulator from the electricity network. As a result the device fell upon the train, as stated by the Bulgarian National Railway service in an interview for NOVA television.

State of Emergency Lifted in Bulgaria's Mezdra
The state of emergency in the municipality of Mezdra has been lifted Tuesday morning, as announced by mayor Nikolinka Kartovska.
Meanwhile, the total evaluation of the damages is still ongoing and will be announced prior to the end of the week.

Authorities Declare State of Emergency in Bulgaria's Mezdra Due to Rain, Floods
A state of emergency was declared at midnight in the northwestern Bulgarian town of Mezdra due to the torrential rainfalls and floods.
This was announced by the mayor of the municipality Nikolina Katovska, daily Dnevnik reports.

Car 'Flies' With 252 km/h On a First Class Road
Police traffic camera in Bulgaria's town of Vratsa intercepted a BMW doing 252 km/h at a road with a 90 km/h speed limit.
The violation happened at the exit of Vratsa in the direction of Mezdra. The chief of traffic police in Vratsa Yanko Haralampiev said the driver is not from the town.
