Two civilians killed, two wounded in attack in Turkey's southeast

Two civilians have been killed while another two have been wounded after a house was raked with bullets in the southeastern province of Mardin's Dargeçit district amid a continuing curfew in the area.

The house was attacked by members of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) at 9:15 p.m. on Dec. 23, 12 days after a curfew was imposed by the military.

Citizens in Turkey's Cizre given access to markets, internet

A curfew which was implemented late Sept. 4 in the Cizre district of southeastern Turkey's ??rnak province would be removed as of 7:00 a.m. on Sept. 12, ??rnak Governor's office said on Sept. 11 soon after three markets and one bakery were permitted to open with telephone and internet lines also opened to access.
