'L' stands for Light and Lightness

The moment I stepped in the unassuming building, I felt like a feather floating in the air. The ambiance was very light and airy. All embraced in the lightness of white, the interior design of LUME makes one truly weightless, even slightly dizzy. A few moments later, I would witness the same effortless lightness in the dishes, with a strong stroke of sunshine.

Cameristi Della Scala on stage with Turkish musicians

Famous chamber orchestra Cameristi Della Scala, which was founded in 1982 by musicians from the orchestra of Teatro alla Scala, will take the stage at Istanbul's Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall on April 24. The orchestra will perform for the first time with a Turkish conductor, Hakan Şensoy in the concert.

The famous watchmakers, Rolex, demanded that Italian PM Renzi and his Interior Minister apologize on the comments they made concerning the Milan riots, when they stated that the perpetrators were spoiled rich kids wearing Rolex watches.

 

Second baby boy for Shakira and footballer Pique

Colombian pop star Shakira has given birth to a baby boy, named Sasha, her second child with Barcelona footballer Gerard Pique, the celebrity couple annnounced on Jan. 30.
      
"We are happy to announce the birth of Sasha Pique Mebarak, son of Shakira Mebarak and Gerard Pique, born January 29 at 9:54pm, in Barcelona," they said in a statement.

Greek architect and designer Kostantia Manthou came up with an original idea while preparing for a group exhibition by the This Is Very Dangerous (TIVD) team of international designers at this year’s Milan Design Week, held April 8-13. Every year, the team sets a specific theme which acts as inspiration for the work they create. This year it was picnics.
