Six Bulgarian students are in the epicenter of the disaster in Hawaii - the city of Lahaina, Nova TV reported. Their parents didn't know if their children were okay for days. According to them, they did not receive any assistance from the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"A large-scale national campaign against driving under the influence begins tonight". This was stated by the resigned Prime Minister Kiril Petkov at a briefing on the occasion of the tragic car crash in Sofia.

"This toothless policy is being passed on to another government. Bulgaria has always tried to be friends with everyone, which is really impossible in this situation. There is a serious antagonism between the warring parties.

Famous journalist Milen Tsvetkov died at the age of 54 in a serious car accident, just next to Mall Paradise in Sofia.

Deputies in Parliament unexpectedly rejected the BGN 10 M increase in the budget of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) on Wednesday, reported BNR.

The larger subsidy was approved on Tuesday by the budget commission but was not reflected in its report. This is why deputies voted "against".
