Slovak military policemen who left at the beginning of August to serve in the military operation, EUNAVFOR MED Sophia, are involved in a team under the leadership of the German navy, The Slovak Spectator writes.

The biggest multinational exercise in the Black Sea region called ''Saber Guardian 2017'' starts today at the Novo Selo military camp in Southern Bulgaria, reported BGNES.

In the period July 11-20, a total of 18 specialized exercises will take place under the leadership of the US Army Command in Europe on the territory of the three host countries - Bulgaria, Romania and Hungary.

Trial of gendarmes begins, accused plead not guilty

BELGRADE -- The trial of eight members of the Gendarmerie, charged with beating the brothers of the prime minister and the Belgrade mayor began on Thursday.

The incident that also involved two military police officers coincided with the Gay Pride parade held in Belgrade on September 28.

President Klaus Iohannis told Interior Ministry's employees upon their annual report on Monday he would plead for decent wages and working conditions for law enforcers.

BELGRADE - The Military Security Agency (VBA) has provided the initial documents about the incident between the Gendarmerie and the military police in Belgrade in September last year and that is a step in the right direction, Ombudsman Sasa Jankovic has posted on his Twitter account.
