BELGRADE - The Serbian parliament has passed a bill amending the law on ministries, under which two new ministries will be formed - the ministry of environment and the ministry of European integration.

The new government, to be formed by PM-Designate Ana Brnabic, will thus have 18 ministries - two more than the previous government.

Minister of Regional Development Lilyana Pavlova has assured that there are no dams at risk of overflooding.

The Ministry of environment is following the condition and the situation regarding dams in Bulgaria.

The dams for drinking water supervised by the Ministry are also being watched.

Hunters bragging about killing wild rabbits in snowy parts of Albania have become a hit on social media in the last days of December and the first days of 2016.

None of these hunters can be unaware of the fact that their shoots are totally illegal.

All hunting in Albania was banned for two years in 2014 and the moratorium does not run out until March.

Oil pollution that struck the beach of the Albanian port and resort of Durres a few days ago has revealed the negligence of institutions in preventing such situations.

Albania has also been slow in implementing regulations to ensure greater discipline regarding the waste management of ships anchored in the country's ports.
