BELGRADE - Ana Brnabic's future government, for which a parliamentary majority is now secure, will have two new ministries - for environment and European integration, Tanjug has learned.

After passing an important package of judicial reforms sought by the EU, Albania hopes to start accession talks with the Brussels by the end of this year.

Experts are confident Albania will obtain EU candidate status

The optimism is based on the recent European Commission recommendation for candidate membership status.

Onlookers said they expect the European Council to follow a recommendation by the European Commission (EC) that Albania obtain EU candidate member status.
