EBRD President Renaud-Basso in Türkiye for talks
European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) President Odile Renaud-Basso has embarked on a four-day visit to Türkiye, where she will engage in high-level meetings in Ankara and Istanbul.
"This visit reaffirms our dedication to supporting Türkiye's vision for inclusive growth, innovation and a greener future," Renaud-Basso said.

Climate Investment Funds board backs $1 bln Turkey grid upgrade plan
Multilateral lender Climate Investment Funds (CIF) has agreed to back a $1 billion plan to upgrade Turkey's electricity grid so it can handle more renewable energy by providing an initial investment to the project, it said on Thursday.
World Bank to provide $1.9 bln in financing for projects in Türkiye
Türkiye has sealed agreements with the World Bank amounting to $1.9 billion in financing for four different projects to be implemented in the country.
The deals were inked on the first day of Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek's visit to the U.S., where he attends the G20 and World Bank meetings.
North Macedonia Seeks Joint Railway Project with Bulgaria for Corridor No. 8
Aleksandar Nikoloski, the Minister of Transport of North Macedonia, announced that he expects to meet with Bulgarian representatives to discuss a new joint railway project that would connect the two countries. The railway, which is part of Corridor No. 8, would link Skopje with Sofia and extend to the Black Sea.
