Five Linear B tablets discovered at uncovered Mycenaean-era palace
Archaeologists working at a dig near Sparta, in the southeastern Peloponnese, announced the discovery of a Mycenaean-era palatial complex dating to the 17th and 16th century BC.
Another highlight was the discovery of several tablets that feature writings in Linear B.
Thousands flock to Cycladic Museum's "Hygeia" exhibition
More than 50,000 people have visited the exhibition at the Museum Cycladic "Hygeia: Health, Sickness and Treatment from Homer to Galen," that kicked off at the Museum of Cycladic Art on November 19. The display, set to run until May 31, has already met with a great deal of interest.

A night in the Museum of Cycladic Art
On the night of Thursday, February 5th, anyone can visit the Museum of Cycladic Art at night to partake in the wonderful exhibitions.
From 21:00 until midnight, visitors can attend the exhibitions of ” BEYOND. Death and Afterlife in Ancient Greece” and “Hygieia. Health, Illness, Treatment from Homer to Galen”.

Theseus Ring goes on display for the first time
The ?Theseus Ring,? a gold signet ring unearthed in the Plaka district of Athens in the 1950s and dating back to the Mycenaean period, went on display on Monday for the first time at the Greek capital?s National Archaeological Museum.

Greek, Albanian face prosecutor over illicit antiquities
A 33-year-old Greek man and an Albanian aged 40 were to face a prosecutor on Thursday following their arrest in Argos, in the Peloponnese, in connection with 25 ancient artifacts that are alleged to have been acquired illegally.
The Greek was caught red-handed on Wednesday by an undercover police officer posing as a potential buyer and the Albanian national was caught later.
