Bulgarian Parliament to Vote on Censure Motion
The Bulgarian parliament will vote on the first censure motion against the second government of Boyko Borsiov on Friday.
The opposition will subject the government to a vote of no confidence for its failure in its healthcare policy.
The censure motion is expected to be unsuccessful as the opposition parties will not garner the support of 121 MPs.

Bulgaria Opposition Submits No-Confidence Motion over Healthcare Policies
Sixty-nine members of Bulgarian parliament have submitted a motion of no confidence in the coalition government led by Prime Minister Boyko Borisov over the cabinet's policies in the healthcare sector, public radio bradcaster BNR reported on Thursday.
National Assembly dismisses defense minister
The Serbian National Assembly late on Friday unanimously voted to dismiss Defense Minister Bratislav Gasic.
195 deputies that were present voted in favor of the proposal, submitted by Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.

Bulgaria's Governing Coalition Urges Top Judicial Body to Dissolve Itself
Parties forming Bulgaria's governing coalition on Tuesday urged the Supreme Judicial Council (VSS) to dissolve itself following a string of scandals involving VSS members in recent days.
The call for dissolving the VSS comes just a day before the release of a key report of the European Commission under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism (CVM).
"Government wants to be given clear mandate"
The Serb Progressive Party (SNS) main board has backed by acclamation the decision to hold early parliamentary elections, Maja Gojkovic said on Sunday.
Gojkovic is one of vice-presidents of the party and president of Serbia's National Assembly.

Bulgarian Parliament Reconvenes After Christmas Recess
The Bulgarian parliament will convene at its first plenary sitting for the new year on Wednesday.
Bulgarian MPs enjoyed 25 days of holiday after going into Christmas recess on December 19 last year.
The parliamentary represented parties are expected to outline their priorities for the new political season.

53 prosecutors who will serve in basic and higher prosecutions on Monday took their oath of office in front of National Assembly President Maja Gojkovic.
These prosecutors were elected several days ago, during the current session of parliament.
Farmers, provincial authorities stage protest in Belgrade
An association of farmers and the provincial government of Vojvodina at noon on Thursday staged a protest in front of the national assembly in Belgrade.
They are opposed to proposed changes to the law on state ownership of farming land, that is currently debated by deputies.
