Madrid to host "Archaeological Treasures from Romania. Dacian and Roman Roots" exhibition

A number of 835 artifacts from the collections of 39 museums in Romania left for Spain on Sunday, being transported by a Romanian Air Force aircraft, which will be exhibited, starting with September 30, at National Museum of Archeology in Madrid. The exhibition "Archaeological Treasures from Romania. Dacian and Roman Roots" is coordinated by the National Museum of History of Romania.

The exhibition "Archaeological Treasures of Romania. Dacian and Roman Roots," coordinated by the National Museum of Romanian History (MNIR), bringing together 835 exceptional artifacts from the collections of 39 museums in Romania, will open on September 30 at the National Museum of Archeology in Madrid.

30 museums and 20 cultural organizations open for Night of Museums in Bucharest

Nearly 30 museums, among which, as a first, the National Bank of Romania Museum, and 20 cultural organizations will be open on the Night of Museums 2015 in Bucharest, on Saturday night, ready to offer visitors a diverse programme of events that includes exhibitions, children's workshops, concerts, film projections, as well as ballet and pantomime shows.

Romanian Museums Ready For All-Night Opening

The annual Night of Museums in Romania will involve exhibitions, dance and theatre performances, concerts and films in events all across the country, according to the official website for the event.

Thousands of Romanians are expected to attend the events, hearing hitherto little-known stories of different objects in the museums.
