Wall Street Roars Back to Life in best Session in 9 Years

Wall Street stocks roared back to life on Wednesday, shaking off four straight routs following strong retail sales data and White House reassurances that Fed Chair Jay Powell won't be fired, reports AFP

The Dow Jones Industrial Average finished up nearly 1,100 points, or about five percent, at 22,878.45.

Google to Invest $1 Billion in new New York Campus

Google's parent company Alphabet on Monday said it was investing more than $1 billion to set up a new campus in New York City, reports AFP. 

In a blog post, Alphabet and Google CFO Ruth Porat said it would lease large office buildings in Manhattan's West Village neighbourhood which will become the centerpiece of a campus of more than 1.7 million square-feet (160,000 square metres).

Fire Broke out on the 50th Floor of the Trump Tower Skyscraper

New York (CNN)A fire broke out at Trump Tower on Saturday, leaving one man dead and six firefighters injured, the New York City Fire Department said.

Police identified the man killed as Todd Brassner, 67, a resident of the building's 50th floor. He was taken to the hospital in critical condition but later died, said spokeswoman Angelica Conroy of the Fire Department.
