Tourism in Bulgaria in February was still showing good results, although the coronavirus had already begun to damage and limit the travellers around the world.

In February 2020, 1 874 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country.

In April 2019, 2 052 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country, according to the National Statistical Institute.

In January 2018, 1 894 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 56.2 thousand and the bed-places were 124.0 thousand.

In July 2017, 3 114 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 135.6 thousand and the bed-places were 320.8 thousand.

In April 2017, 1 965 accommodation establishments - hotels, motels, camping sites, mountain chalets and other establishments for short-term accommodation with more than 10 bed-places were functioned in the country. The total number of the rooms in them was 67.2 thousand and the bed-places were 148.7 thousand, according to the data of the National Statistical Institute (NSI).
