The Bulgarian men's national volleyball team recorded on Tuesday its second consecutive victory at the European Games in Baku.

Bulgaria defeated Italy with 3:1 (25-21, 22-25, 34-32, 25-19) and continued its successful performance after having defeated Belgium in its first match at the games.

The US military will hold drills in Bulgaria at the end of August, the commanding general of US Army Europe Lt. Gen. Frederick "Ben" Hodges has said.

Speaking after a meeting with Bulgaria's Chief of Defence Vice-Admiral Rumen Nikolov in Sofia on Monday, Hodges said the drill will involve US ground troops and an airborne assault unit, according to BGNES news outlet.

Sofia Regional Court has ruled that Miroslav Nikolov, the former head of State Fund Agriculture (SFA), should once again take over the post from which he was dismissed.
