Tear gas fired at protest of Albania police shooting
Police in northern Greece have set off tear gas and flash grenades during a rally to protest the fatal police shooting of a man in Albania.
Albanian police shot Greek-Albanian dual citizen Constantinos Katsifas over the weekend, saying he opened fire on officers at an ethnic Greek village.

The Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, called Greece “spoiled” warning that Albania will “no longer be silent on the historical issues between the two countries” indirectly bringing into the agenda the so-called “Tsam issue”.

Athens monitoring situation in Himara
Athens said on Tuesday that it is closely monitoring events in Albania as TV footage in the neighboring country showed some 3,000 police arriving in Himara in the southeast of the country to oversee the demolition of several homes belonging to members of the ethnic Greek minority.

Ethnic Greeks plan rally in Himara against house demolitions
Ethnic Greeks in Himara are to hold a rally on Monday to protest a decision by Albanian authorities to demolish several homes belonging to minority families in this predominantly ethnic Greek seaside holiday resort on the Balkan country's southeastern coast.
Athens angry over Himara demolitions
The Greek Foreign Ministry Thursday condemned a decision by Tirana to allow the demolition of homes belonging to ethnic Greeks in Himara.
The move appears to be an attempt to distract Albanian public opinion from a scandal implicating a former minister in drug crimes, the Greek ministry said.
