10 People were Killed in a Factory Fire in Russia
10 victims of a fire at a shoe factory in the Russian Novosibirsk region, TASS reported.
The cause of the flare is a short circuit. According to preliminary data, most of the people killed are Chinese, and two are from Kyrgyzstan. They all worked in the production or in the warehouse. The fire, which burned on an area of 2000 square meters, has already been extinguished.

Thousands Protested in Russia Against Restriction of Freedom of the Internet
Thousands of Russians protested restrictions on the use of the Internet, news agencies reported.
The most popular were the "Free Internet" processions in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Organised gatherings were also held in Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Vladivostok and some other big cities, reported news.bg
It is reported that 17 activists have been detained in Moscow.
Banned Russian Rally Shifts to Montenegro
A performance art rally held annually in the Siberian city of Novosibirsk in Russia is set to take place in the Montenegrin town of Budva this May Day, after authorities in the Russian city said the event could not go ahead in its usual location.
For ten years, Novsibirsk has hosted the Monstratsiya, a mass absurdist performance combining political statements with art.
