Olympiacos outlast Red Star in basketball Euroleague clash
BELGRADE - Red Star Belgrade have missed a huge opportunity to get a step closer to the Top 8 stage of the basketball Euroleague after a 66-64 (17-9, 13-8, 12-26, 9-10, 6-5) overtime defeat to Olympiacos Piraeus at Belgrade's Kombank Arena late Wednesday.
Reds' win in Serbia suits Panathinaikos too
Olympiakos defeated Red Star in Belgrade on Wednesday to confirm its home advantage for the Euroleague play-offs and do Panathinaikos a favor beating one of its rivals to the fourth spot, one day after the Greens sealed their own play-off spot with a home win over Armani Milano.

Olympiakos defeat Red Star Belgrade on the road
Olympiakos basketball team have pulled off a great win in Belgrade (66-64) against Red Star Belgrade, essentially clinching a home court advantage in the next knock out round of the Euroleague. The last minute hero was forward George Printezis who scored the winning basket 3 seconds before the end.

Olympiakos and Panathinaikos scored precious wins on the road in the Euroleague, as the Reds defeated UNICS at Kazan on Thursday and the Greens saw off Galatasaray in Istanbul in Friday.
