Vandalism of memorial to missing journalists condemned

BELGRADE - The Association of Journalists of Serbia (UNS) and the Association of Journalists of Kosovo-Metohija (DNKiM) condemned on Friday the latest vandalism of the memorial to the missing journalists in KiM, and urged the international and Kosovo institutions to launch an investigation immediately.

ORAHOVAC/VELIKA HOCA - Marko Djuric, director of the Serbian government's Office for Kosovo-Metohija (KiM), promised on Thursday that the state will assist citizens of Orahovac and Velika Hoca, the Serb enclaves in south-western KiM, and called on people of goodwill to invest efforts in the preservation of Serb enclaves in KiM.

The Kosovo Police and prosecution plan to interview two more witnesses who were present in the “Haja Petrol” restaurant in Rahovec/ Orahovac, where Pista was shot in the back several times during the early hours of Sunday morning.

KLA graffiti appear on gate of Serb Orthodox monastery

GRAČANICA -- A graffiti reading "UCK" - Albanian for "KLA", the so-called Kosovo Liberation Army - appeared on the gate of the Visoki Dečani Monastery early on Friday.

This is according to a statement issued by the Eparchy of Raška and Prizren of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC).
