Two arson attacks destroy eight cars
Police on Monday were investigating two separate arson attacks in which a total of eight cars were damaged.
The first attack occurred in the parking lot of an OTE telecom branch in Halandri, northern Athens, at 9 p.m. on Sunday.
At 2.45 a.m. on Monday, two more cars were torched at an auto dealership in Kifissia, north of Halandri.

Piraeus steals show as stock index recovers

OTE stock leads bourse to another day of modest gains
OTE telecom shares led the Greek bourse to another day of moderate gains on Wednesday as it cast aside investor fatigue and reservations to help the benchmark climb above 1,350 points.
Gains at the closing bell for main stock index
The closing auctions helped the Greek stock markets benchmark index to post gains of almost 1 percent on Friday, as it registered a small weekly drop of 0.21 percent.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index closed at 1,327.87 points, adding 0.98 percent to Thursdays 1,314.99 points. The large-cap FTSE/ATHEX 25 expanded 1.05 percent to 428.65 points.
