The reactions of foreign tourism organizations to the recent measures taken by the Greek government for the sector, and in particular to the increase in the climate crisis resilience fee and the imposition of a cruise fee, are taking an institutional form.

Brnik/Ljubljana – Some 180 passengers are due to fry to Tenerife from Slovenia’s main international airporton Sunday, as the first charter flight this year is to be operated from Ljubljana airport by Croatian air carrier Trade Air. Slovenian tour operators say that despite the coronavirus pandemic, interest in tourist travel is increasing.

A Dutch tour operator is selling "corona-free" holiday packages for its three hotels in the Mediterranean province of Antalya.

The Chinese unit of Germany's TUI, the world's biggest tourism group, said on Sunday it has resumed offering holiday packages in China and urged the European Union to lift travel restrictions in place to curb the coronavirus.

German tour operator Tui AG is signing new, long-term contracts with Greek hoteliers who were not previously in its portfolio, in a bid to expand further in Greece after the collapse of rival British company Thomas Cook.
