Pakistan to deport teachers linked to Gülenists

Pakistan has ordered Turkish teachers at schools with alleged links to the U.S.-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gülen to leave the country, as it prepared to host President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. 
The teachers and their families, totaling roughly 450 people, were given three days' notice to leave, PakTurk International Schools and Colleges said in a statement late on Nov. 15. 

Turkey, Pakistan free trade deal to be ready in December

A free trade agreement between Turkey and Pakistan will be ready to be signed in December, according to Ankara's ambassador to Islamabad. 

Ambassador Sadık Babür Girgin said President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will arrive in Pakistan on Nov. 16 for a two-day visit, during which bilateral relations will be discussed and a business forum between Turkey and Pakistan is planned.

Turkey, Pakistan sign free trade agreement framework

Turkey and Pakistan have paved the way for a new free trade deal, which has the potential to reduce barriers in bilateral trade and investment.

Turkish Economy Minister Mustafa Elita? and Pakistani Commerce Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan inked the free trade agreement framework in the Pakistani capital of Islamabad on March 22.        

Turkish power ship to supply electricity to Zambia

Turkey's Karadeniz will in the next two weeks begin supplying Zambia with electricity from a power-generating ship as it looks to take advantage of chronic shortages in Africa, the company said on March 2.

Karadeniz builds what are effectively floating power stations which plug into electricity grids after berthing. They run on fuel oil but can also use natural gas.
