The National Taxi Trade Union has initiated an indefinite protest in Sofia, expressing deep dissatisfaction with the current state of taxi parking provisions in the city.

The recent implementation of traffic and parking adjustments along key boulevards and streets in Sofia's city center has sparked heated debates and disputes among residents. Notably, alterations on Vitosha, Patriarch Eftimi, and Fritjof Nansen boulevards, including diagonal parking arrangements, have fueled discussions on social media platforms.

Drivers should to avoid movement and parking of their vehicles along the mentioned routes

The National Union of Road Hauliers in Romania (UNTRR) request the intervention of French and European authorities, as well as the involvement of the Romanian Government in order to protect the professional drivers, as well as the vehicles that transport freight to the United Kingdom of Great Britain, based on the increase of immigrant attacks on road transporters.

Vehicles are moving slowly on many streets

Electric scooters will only be able to be rented if registered and with a speed limit. New paid parking zones will operate in Bulgaria's capital Sofia from 2nd of October, reported the Bulgarian National Television. 

Green parking zones are added to the existing ones in the central part. They will include zones from "Lozentes" and "Sredets" residential areas.

5,000 additional parking spaces will be added to the parking zones in the capital city.
