Passport-free regime between Turkey, Azerbaijan soon
Citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan will soon be able to travel to each other's country with only their state identity cards, the Turkish foreign minister announced on Dec. 10.
Turkish, Saudi foreign ministers hold ‘sincere’ meeting
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Nov. 27 said he held a meeting with his Saudi counterpart to discuss bilateral relations and regional issues.
Çavuşoğlu said in a tweet that the "sincere" meeting with Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud was held on the occasion of the 47th session of Organization of Islamic Cooperation's (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers.
Turkish FM says EU must ‘acknowledge its mistakes’
Ankara expects the European Union to "acknowledge its mistakes" and "understand the value that Turkey's membership will bring to the union," Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu was quoted by the state-run Anadolu Agency as saying on Tuesday.

Turkey sends EU leaders letters on East Mediterranean
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu sent letters on Aug. 13 to European Union foreign ministers and EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell about recent developments in the Eastern Mediterranean and Turkey's approach on the issue.

Çavuşoğlu hosted an online event called "Refugees and Displaced Persons During the Pandemic: The Need for International Cooperation" held under the framework of Antalya Diplomacy Forum.
Turkey urges restraint to US over protests
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has urged restraint to the United States over ongoing mass protests in reaction to the killing of an unarmed black man at the hands of police in Minneapolis.
"It's not acceptable that the police could kill anybody regardless of his race, religion or faith in such a way," Çavuşoğlu told private broadcaster 24TV in an interview on June 3.
