Turkish FM calls for US Patriot missiles as support in Idlib
Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said Ankara sought for the United States to send Patriot missiles to Turkey for back-up in Syria's northwestern province of Idlib.
Turkish FM meets with key EP committee chair
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu on Feb. 24 met with David McAllister, chair of the EU Parliament's Foreign Affairs Committee, and a committee delegation in the capital Ankara.
"Met with President David McAllister and [committee] delegation," Çavuşoğlu said in a tweet.

Turkey top diplomat meets Montenegro parliament speaker
Turkey's foreign minister met Montenegro's parliament speaker in capital Ankara on Feb. 19.
In a tweet, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said the two countries are "giving great importance to interparliamentary cooperation".
The foreign minister said he was very pleased to meet Ivan Brajovic, the parliament speaker of "friend and ally" Montenegro, twice within one week.
Turkish delegation to visit Russia for Idlib talks
A Turkish delegation will visit Russia on Feb. 17 to discuss the situation in Idlib in northwestern Syria, according to Turkey's top diplomat, after a recent spike in violence in the region.
