Widespread damages in Patmos due to storms
Widespread damages have been reported on the road network of the island of Patmos in the eastern Aegean, as a result of heavy rainfall in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The rainfall also caused landslides in coastal areas.

Greece has a right, as well as an obligation, to defend its Aegean islands against Turkish aggression, President Prokopis Pavlopoulos said on Monday.
More migrants transferred to the mainland
Another 168 refugees and migrants from Lesvos and Chios arrived at the port of Piraeus on Thursday morning, state-run news agency ANA-MPA reported.
Later in the day, the ferry Nissos Rodos will bring 15 migrants and refugees from Kos and Blue Star Patmos will transfer 14 people from Leros.
