Chairperson of Bulgarian National Assembly on visit to Romanian Patriarchate
Patriarch Daniel of the Romanian Orthodox Church received on Tuesday a delegation of the Bulgarian National Assembly, voicing on the occasion appreciation for the good relations of cooperation between the two neighboring nations.

Orthodox Patriarchate ordered to pay $2.9 mln to Israeli lawyer
An Israeli court ordered the Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem to pay 11.3 million shekels (2.9 million dollars) to Israeli lawyer Moshe Lipke after he claimed that the Church owed him 11.3 million shekels. The sum covers the cost of cases that he says he represented the Patriarchate in Jerusalem in since 2002.

Atheists fan the Flame of Jerusalem Patriarchate
The Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem issued assurances on Monday that the Holy Light would travel to Greece this year regardless of a call by a group of local atheists' for the flight not to be paid for by the Greek government. The Greek Union of Atheists protested against the annual air transport costs to bring the flame to Greece in a spirit of pomp and pageantry.

Armenian Patriarchate in Turkey establishes foundation
The Armenian Patriarchate in Turkey has established a foundation under the name "Hovagim 1461," in order to formally acquire a legal personality.
The foundation is named after the first Armenian patriarchate Hovagim and the date when he was appointed to his position.
