Bulgarian Socialist Party's Request to Use Buzludzha Monument Rejected

The government today rejected the request from Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) to use free of charge the Buzludzha monument for 10 years, the government's press office said, quoted by bTV.

The proposal was made by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works at today's meeting of the Council of Ministers.

Azerbaijan, Bulgaria Discuss Cooperation

Azerbaijan`s Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov has met chief prosecutor of Bulgaria Sotir Tsatsarov, News.az reported. 

Fikrat Mammadov emphasized fruitful friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries. He singled out the role of the heads of the states in the development of these relations, according to AzerTag.

Vucic congratulates Macron

BELGRADE - Serbian PM Aleksandar Vucic on Monday congratulated Emmanuel Macron on winning the French presidential elections, expressing the expectation that Macron's presidential term would mean deeper cooperation between the Serbian and the French nations, the government press office said in a statement.

Danas: Army chief Dikovic could be first to be replaced by Vucic

Serbian Army chief Gen. Ljubisa Dikovic "could be the first" to be removed from office when Aleksandar Vucic takes over as president, the daily Danas writes.

The reports is based opinions of military analysts, who noted that Dikovic was appointed in 2011 by then President Boris Tadic, and that he later "relied on support from (now) outgoing President Tomislav Nikolic."
