More than half of Greeks aged 25-34 live with parents
More than half of Greeks in their mid-20s to mid-30s live with their parents, a significantly larger proportion than the average of 28.5 percent in the 28-member European Union, according to the results of a survey by the bloc's statistics service Eurostat which were made public on Tuesday.

ATHEX: Third week of gains ends on another 9-month high
The Greek bourse wrapped up another week of gains on Friday, with the benchmark at a nine-month high. Still, trading volume eased and the positive momentum appears to have slowed.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 765.67 points, adding 0.20 percent to Thursday's 764.13 points. It rose for a third consecutive week, by 1.49 percent.

The Greek bourse continues to go from strength to strength, with its benchmark recording another eight-month high on Friday, boosted by the performance of bank stocks as well as the continued drop of the yield on Greek state bond ahead of a possible new issue. The Eurogroup decision mattered little for traders, as they had already factored it in earlier in the week.

Turkey's annual inflation rate at 19.71 pct in March
Consumer prices in Turkey became 19.71 percent year-on-year in March, marking a 0.04 percentage point increase from previous month, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) on April 3.
ATHEX: Bourse index posts gains of 2 pct in March
The Greek bourse benchmark rose 1.96 percent over the month of March, taking the growth of the main index in the first quarter of the year to 17.62 percent.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 721.37 points on Friday, adding 1.08 percent to Thursday's 713.66 points. On a weekly basis it advanced 1.85 percent.

Bank stocks and a few other blue chips propped up the benchmark at Athinon Avenue on Wednesday as the majority of stocks on the board headed south and trading volume sank.

Employment outlook index at 11-year high for April-June
Almost one in three Greek employers will hire more staff in the next three months if the results of a ManpowerGroup survey on expectations for the second quarter of the year turn out to be correct. The greatest optimism was seen in the sectors of construction, industry, transport, retail and wholesale commerce, as well as water, electricity and natural gas.
Almost 26 pct of Greeks cannot afford to heat their homes adequately
Almost one in four Greeks cannot afford to heat their home sufficiently, according to Eurostat data collected as part of the annual EU survey on income and living conditions in the bloc.
Based on the report, 25.7 percent of Greeks said they were not able to keep their home adequately warm due to their economic condition.
