Walking off pitch to protest racism is milestone, says Webo
Walking off the pitch during a EUFA Champions League game between Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir and France's Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Dec. 8 as a protest against the racist remark by one of the referees was a "milestone," said Pierre Webo, Başakşehir's assistant manager.

The Champions League match between Paris SG and Turks of Basaksehir Istanbul was interrupted on Tuesday and the players returned to the locker room, after an alleged racist incident involving the fourth referee of the match.
The match was interrupted after about 15 minutes of play. The fourth referee is accused of racism, he would have designated a player by the term "nigga".
PSG-Başakşehir match suspended amid alleged racism
UEFA Champions League match between France's Paris Saint-Germain and Turkey's Medipol Başakşehir late on Dec. 9 was paused after an alleged racist remark targeting the Turkish club's technical staff.
In the 17th minute of the match at Parc des Princes, Başakşehir assistant manager Pierre Webo from Cameroon argued with the referee of the match about a position.

Fenerbahçe narrowly beat Medicana Sivasspor 3-2 in an away match May 9 to sit in second place in the Turkish Spor Toto Super League, keeping pace with league-leading Galatasaray.
Sivasspor took the lead in the eighth minute when Mehdi Taouil scored the opening goal of the game to put the home side up 1-0. Just a minute later, Fenerbahçe playmaker Diego replied to make it 1-1.
