A Russian Shahed drone crossed into Romanian airspace during the night of September 7-8, prompting NATO fighter jets to track its movement, according to the Romanian Ministry of Defence (MApN). Another drone may have crashed on Romanian territory, though it has not yet been located.

A Russian missile and drone assault on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro resulted in the deaths of at least four individuals and left 27 others injured, according to a report by Reuters citing the city's mayor. The attack also sparked numerous fires throughout the area.

Ukraine has reached out to Poland for assistance in intercepting Russian missiles and drones near their shared border, as reported by BTA. Poland is currently evaluating both the technical and legal aspects of utilizing its air defense systems for this purpose.

Russia has intensified pressure on Ukraine's energy infrastructure with targeted missile strikes hitting facilities in central and western regions. These strikes mark the fourth large-scale attack on Ukraine's power system in recent weeks, heightening concerns over the country's energy security.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed the explosion in Ukraine's Odesa on Wednesday as a precision military hit. The attack took place approximately 500 to 800 meters away from visiting Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' motorcade.

Russia launched a massive air attack over Ukraine on Friday, killing at least 30 people and wounding scores across the country in the fiercest assault since the first days of the war nearly two years ago.

The head of state has ordered PM Dmitry Medvedev to form a special commission which will investigate the tragic incident with the TU-154 of the military ministry.
